THE WOODEN PEN BY LUC GUILLAUME
The face behind the product
LUC GUILLAUME
As a child, the forest was Luc Guillaume’s favourite playground. Although woodworking has always thrilled him, Luc Guillaume long preferred to keep his talent as a hobby, not daring to take the plunge and make a career of it. The trigger was his meeting with Pitt Brandenburger, an artist who helped him to perfect his techniques and combine materials. Since then, Luc Guillaume has been using wood chips to create unique objects, both useful and decorative. In 2010, at the instigation of his wife, he started to manufacture pens. These small objects with a wide range of creative possibilities now come to life in his hands, after being carved for hours in his workshop in Käerjeng, in the southwest of the country.
