The face behind the product
IRINA MOONS
Irina’s favourite subject is conviviality: families, couples, friends around a table, intimate moments with her dog… none of these warm, happy moments escape Irina’s pencils and brushes! Like David Hockney, one of her favourite references, she paints everyday scenes where everyone can enjoy finding themselves in a world inhabited by colour, where the landscapes are large flat areas bursting with blues, greens and oranges. There’s no message in her illustrations, just an infectious invitation to good humour. A polymorph, she adapts her talents and her vision of the world to a wide range of clients and commissions, whether it’s to create an illustration for an individual, a visual identity, a logo or the design of a company website. But true to form, she infuses each of her compositions with a touch of energy and cheerfulness. Keen to share and pass on her knowledge, she organises workshops around the big white table in her studio for young and old alike, introducing them to drawing and screen printing. It’s all about conviviality!

POSTER AND POSTCARD
Her theme? A theme made for her: well-being. In fact, Irina’s illustration seems to say that you can never be well on your own, and you’ll never be well-balanced if you keep all to yourself. Here, in the vast green space created in the Grund district and against the backdrop of the Adolphe Bridge, the image celebrates the pleasure of being together, whether it’s sharing a picnic, a glass of crémant or playing sport. Wellbeing – a Luxembourg speciality!
